On Wednesday, a woman was attacked inside a Greenwood nursing homes home in North Carolina, where she was being cared for by a nurse.
The attack came after a woman at the facility called 911 to report that her daughter was assaulted by another nurse.
“I just saw my daughter screaming, and I ran out of the room, and my daughter was lying there, bleeding,” said Amber Lee, who has been a nurse at Greenwood for nearly four years.
“She was so upset.
She didn’t know what was happening.”
The attack took place at Greenes’ Greenwood facility, located at 6051 Northpoint Road in Greenwood.
The woman who reported the attack was not identified.
Lee told Breitbart News that the attack occurred shortly after 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Lee was at the Greenwood home with her daughter and granddaughter when the nurse told her to get her daughter out of her room.
Lee, 32, said she rushed out to get the child out of a bedroom that was next to the room with the nurse.
Lee said that the nurse kicked her daughter in the head.
“It was like she had her hands on her and she just pushed her into the bed,” Lee said.
“The nurse just pushed my daughter down on the bed and slammed her head down against the bed.
The nurse just put her face down on top of my daughter.”
The nurse then put her hands up on the top of her head, Lee said, and punched her in the face.
“There was blood everywhere, and she was screaming, ‘Get out of here!
Get out of there!
Get the hell out of my room!'”
Lee said the nurse put the child back into her room and locked the door.
Lee then tried to get back in the room to get help, but the nurse pushed her to the ground and slammed the door shut.
The girl was able to get out of bed and ran downstairs, but Lee and her daughter were still pinned to the floor and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital.
“We were trying to get our daughter out, and the nurse was still beating my daughter on the floor,” Lee told The Greenville News.
“My daughter was crying, saying, ‘I didn’t do anything wrong.
I didn’t hurt you.
She said the woman told her the nurse had used a Taser on her daughter, but she didn’t remember that. “
Lee said she was able see her daughter’s bruises and bruises on the girl’s arm.
“So my daughter had been in a lot of pain and she wasn’t able to stand. “
But she had hit my daughter in her face,” Lee explained.
“So my daughter had been in a lot of pain and she wasn’t able to stand.
My daughter was bleeding, and that was the only thing that made sense.”
The attack happened in the nursing home’s “living room,” which is usually where nurses and patients gather to have their physicals.
“If you were to walk into a living room in a nursing home that’s where people go to go to have a physical,” Lee added.
“People were there, and then when the ambulance arrived, people were there.”
The Greenwood woman, who was transported to a local hospital, said the attack came while she was nursing her daughter.
“When we got to the hospital, the nurse started to put my daughter to sleep,” Lee recounted.
“And then she was like, ‘You’re not going to believe this.
I’m going to put her back in her room.’
She said, ‘What’s your name?’
And I said, Amber Lee.”
Lee said she did not know what her daughter looked like and said she doesn’t know if the nurse called her Amber Lee.
Lee’s daughter has been in and out of hospitals before.
She told the News & Observer that she has “totally recovered” from her injury, but was unable to say whether she would be able to work again.
The North Carolina State Medical Board has opened an investigation into the incident.
Lee has said that she will file a lawsuit against the nursing facility and the nursing staff, as well as the nurse who attacked her.
“This nurse was a danger to the community and to my family,” Lee wrote in an open letter posted to the North Carolina chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union on Tuesday.
“How many other times have you had to defend yourself against the abuse of power in your own home?
How many times have I had to put the safety of my family at risk for the convenience of someone who would never hurt anyone?”
